Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is a welfare scheme introduced by the Government of Maharashtra to empower women from economically weaker sections by providing them financial aid.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a female resident of Maharashtra.
  • Eligible women include married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or one unmarried woman per family.
  • Family income must not exceed ₹2,50,000 per year.
  • Bank account must be Aadhaar-linked.

Exclusions

  • Families with annual income above ₹2,50,000 or those with an income-tax-paying member.
  • Women who already benefit from similar schemes offering ₹1,500/month from other government departments.
  • Families with a four-wheeler registered in their name (excluding tractors).

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. Register by providing your name, mobile number, Aadhaar details, and other necessary information.
  3. Upload required documents such as Aadhaar card, domicile certificate, and income proof.
  4. Upon submission, you will receive an application ID via SMS.
