Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is a welfare scheme introduced by the Government of Maharashtra to empower women from economically weaker sections by providing them financial aid.
Objectives

Key Features
- Eligible women receive ₹1,500 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- The age eligibility has been extended to cover women from 21 to 65 years.
- This scheme ensures women’s economic independence to help them meet personal and family needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a female resident of Maharashtra.
- Eligible women include married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or one unmarried woman per family.
- Family income must not exceed ₹2,50,000 per year.
- Bank account must be Aadhaar-linked.
Exclusions
- Families with annual income above ₹2,50,000 or those with an income-tax-paying member.
- Women who already benefit from similar schemes offering ₹1,500/month from other government departments.
- Families with a four-wheeler registered in their name (excluding tractors).
How to Apply
- Visit the official website.
- Register by providing your name, mobile number, Aadhaar details, and other necessary information.
- Upload required documents such as Aadhaar card, domicile certificate, and income proof.
- Upon submission, you will receive an application ID via SMS.
